As a native of Mobile, Dr. Zimlich attended Troy University where he earned a degree in Marine Biology and Auburn University where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Following his graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Zimlich practiced veterinary medicine in a mixed animal practice in Baldwin County for three years. He decided to pursue his interest in feline medicine and pain management and transitioned to a small animal practice. In 2008, he joined Zoetis and began presenting product information regarding sedation, obesity, oncology, and antibiotic therapy to local veterinarians in the Gulf Coast area.
Dr. Zimlich enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine with particular interest in feline medicine, dentistry, and pain management. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the Mobile Veterinary Medical Association. When not treating patients, Dr. Zimlich enjoys being outside in coastal Alabama, fishing, gardening, and canning. He loves spending time with his family and taking care of his chickens, four dogs, and thirteen cats.
Dr. Zimlich works with the Parkway family as a relief veterinarian so be sure to call ahead for his availability.

When not pondering how to make your fur baby healthier she enjoys down time with her husband Jacob & their two beautiful children Rilyn & Dawson. Originally from the northwest, Kelsea moved to Alabama in 2014 to be closer to her husbands family. Kelsea joined the Parkway family in 2015. After much time learning she excelled to asst the doctors in every aspect of health care. She is always the little one with the big smile to great you!!!

Originally from the northwest, April moved to Alabama with her family in 2006. After spending time in a clinic in Fairhope April came to Parkway in 2009 & hasn't left since. Starting out as a veterinary asst she has excelled her skills & education to preform the duties as practice manger.
